Ambulances are divided into two types as emergency aid and patient transport ambulance. In emergency ambulances (red strip), there are mainly medical equipment suitable for intensive care, such as monitor, defibrillator, transport ventilator, pulse oximeter, infusion pump, all emergency intervention materials and medicines. In emergency ambulances Physician or Paramedic and Emergency Medical Technician, driver (first aid certified) are available. There is a team of 3 persons consisting of a doctor or a paramedic plus an emergency medical technician plus a first aid certified driver.

Patient transport ambulances (blue stripe) transfer the patients who are in stable condition to hospital - home or home - hospital. Emergency medical technician and first aid certified driver are employed in patient transport ambulances. These ambulances include fixed portable medical equipment and medicines specified in the Ministry of Health regulation. The heart defibrillator applied to the patient without a doctor called external automatic defibrillator is also found in the patient transport ambulances. With the latest regulations, Transport ventilator and medical equipment to be used in many emergency interventions are also available in patient transport ambulances. In emergency aid and patient transport ambulances, the physician or clinic that is following the patient before the transfer can be re-arranged according to the medical condition of the patient and the medical equipment required.

Ambulance or emergency aid from Ankara center in planned transfers are directed to different provinces. Apart from these provinces, emergency and ambulance services are provided via ambulance network covering the all over Turkey. At certain periods, first aid certifications of the drivers working in the land ambulances are renewed. 

Our ambulances are in contact with our alarm center at domestic and international points with mobile communication systems, radio and vehicle tracking system following the latest technology in a technical sense. Emergency medical technicians, anesthesia technicians, paramedics, and physicians are trained to update their knowledge and skills through in-service training in certain periods, and also receive training on patient and health personnel communication.

Our ambulances are continuously controlled by the fleet officers for tire changes and technical maintenance according to seasonal conditions. Our ambulances comply with TSE 1789 Annex C standards and are also digitally controlled according to these standards.
